A PROM IN MISSISSIPPI is an interesting documentary regarding race and the segregation of their prom. It explores the kids who attend the school and the challenges they face just to enjoy their prom with their friends, but parent, families and elders have once again try to instill racism to our younger generation, when is it going to stop people?

We watch the documentary and fell in love with a interracial couple by the names of Erica and Jeremy are an interracial couple in Mississippi. Now you may ask why and we will tell you, for the simple fact they we too came from a family that had RACIST family members trying to influence our believes, but I new what was right and I followed my heart and ended up teaching them NOT to be racist. Now Erica fell for Jeremy a quite handsome young man, who loves her and she has stuck with him even while her father forbid her to see him. Her father grounded her, took away her phone and scolded her for seeing him and will not let Erica date him until she’s 18. That is truly sad of her father, but what is more sad is that her father is so ignorant, because he says he wants people to like him and that he is not racist, A dude wake up, what you did to your daughter of a young man who loves your daughter because he’s black mean only one thing and only one, YOUR RACIST, there is NO WAY AROUND IT.

They are happy together and are attending a Mississippi high school where racism still exist. People change is here and we have already fought for equality between blacks and whites, but is sicken Gossiboo that people still tend to segregate themselves.

There is a statement from one girl who said her Grandmother said ,”everyone was put on this earth to be different, that’s what makes people individual so that’s why blacks and white should not date.” First of all that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. That is obvious that it can from someone who lived during a racist time in our worlds history, but they are obviously ignorant and most likely dead now.

Wake Up America, Wake Up!!! It’s a new day and of course elders,parents and grandparents are going to keep trying to instill racism on to a younger generation, but did you ever stop to think if everyone from age 50 on down to 0 stopped being racist that the older generation and their racist ways would become a thing of the past!

Oh by the way Arron and Jessica were crowned Prom Queen and King a cute black couple and that was the choice of the school. These kids are experiencing racism first hand, have you ever? We have and it is foul and disgusting people are so ignorant.

Here’s little story of racism that we experienced, now this is only one. One night I went out in Atlanta to a club, I was only 2 non-blacks in the club. I hung out with friends and had one of the best times of my life. I decided to go to “WAFFLE HOUSE” across the street. I went in there and didn’t pay attention that I was the only non-black in the restaurant. I sat down at the counter. The waitress said she’ll be with me she has to catch up. So i said “Ok.”  Well I waited and waited and waited and waited some more. She pushed dishes in front of me. she was cleaning things around her and every-time I asked to order she ignored me.

This went on for 1:15 minutes. I didn’t realize how long until I looked at my watch. Then a nice black couple from New York came in and asked to place an order to go. I replied, “Wait I’m next.” The girl behind the counter said no I’m NOT SERVING YOU, I Thought you would have gotten the hint by now. Well that set of the couple from NEW YORK as they stood in my defense. At the same time the waiter behind the counter pulled me close and said, “WE DON”T SERVE YOUR KIND.” I was shocked, I couldn’t believe how outright wrong they were. The couple from NEW YORK left in outrage and I replied, ‘SO YOUR NOT SERVING ME, BECAUSE I’M NOT BLACK?” The waitress said yes and the cook yelled for me to leave. Then a another older waitress said if you got a problem then use the compliant phone, so I did. They called the cops on me for it. So I left without being served and complete discriminated upon. That was blatant racism.

I called “WAFFLE HOUSE” corporate compliant line and they took my compliant, but the next day when i checked to see about my complaint and to add one thing i forgot to my complaint the detailed phone call was mysterious erased. I had spoken to a Wanda, I asked he on the phone that night if she was black and she replied, “Yes.” Well she also deleted the compliant to protect that “WAFFLE HOUSE,” but i was smart enough to resubmit the complaint and “WAFFLE HOUSE” send me a letter. I replied I will have an attorney contact them for racism, but get this I could get an attorney to rep me in Los Angeles or Atlanta. But I am putting this out there today for two things. One “WAFFLE HOUSE” you have a racist business located in Buckhead across from a western club, The RANCH HOUSE.” all those employee’s should be let go and second if there is an attorney or NEWS MEDIA SOURCE Out there please contact us at: News@gossiboo.com Our story is real and it is documented in Waffle House’s records.

That is one of my experience’s of racism in America. But sometimes we as a culture overlook racism and use other ways to explore it by television or film.

Such as: “True Blood” uses Vampires or “X-Men” used mutant’s to explore the believes of different culture regarding racism without the common mind realizing it. All those shows are made to make people wake up and stop being prejudice or racist. The conceptualization of race issues are explored by using other means, such as comic hero’s or fictional characters so people are exposed to racsim without knowing they are.

The show “A Prom in Mississippi,” is a wake up call America as it show you that white supremacy still exist and shows their ugly heads as they threaten, coheirs and banish their children NOT to interracially date. That is sad.They know no better and they may be able to learn from you their child.

To the white people in this documentary, you should be ashamed of yourselves for ignorant believes, racial slander and lies regarding a persons skin. You may not like other cultures, and that is sad on your part, God would look down a upon you for believes as thus. Who gave you the right to teach your children such disgusting ways. This goes to both cultures, black and white, but mostly white. What are you afraid of still. The days of segregation should be in our past, it needs to end, so we are making this statement today to protest all Elders over 50 who were born in the 50’s or earlier that the world is a different place and it’s up to us the younger generation to STOP RACISM.

So racism stops within each and everyone of us and it can stop if each of us is willing to do so.

Note this goes out to all the rappers in the music business who say they hate White’s but will work with them because they can help them further their career. That is foul and you need to wake up as well, we know who you are and you know who we are. Music changes everything, so why can’t you change your beliefs as well.

OR ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DEFAME OR DE-CHARACTERIZE ONES RACE

YOU can make it stop NOW, TODAY, By CHANGING Your ways. If you go out to a club and you see a girl or a boy of another race and you are feeling them say, “Hello.”

Don’t let foolish friends or family COHEIRS you to NOT To say HELLO. Those people are RACIST, HATERS and really don’t care about your well being!

Racism can’t stop, it just take you each and everyone of us to stop the madness. It may take time, you may have to be stronger then ever, but if everyone starts the petition to stop RACISM in AMERICA sign or answer this blog and hopefully we can make a change.

Happy Birthday Elizabeth Berkley And Congrats On The Reunion, But Did “Showgirls” Ruin Her Career?

Ever since her beginnings from Saved By The Bell to “Showgirls,” Elizabeth Berkley has been focused on her career, but was “Showgirls,” the now gay cult classic the right choice for Berkley back in 1995? Would her career as an actress been further along? We think it would have, to be honest.

Berkley jumped from the G rated TV show to a hard R, which was highly criticized and ridiculed by critics. Berkley over-acted as the desperate stripper turned Vegas show girl dancer. A large step for an actress coming from after school hit TV series “Saved By The Bell,” which is celebrated their reunion cover on People magazine.  So what has Berkley been up to since the film “Showgirls”?

Well she just celebrated her 37th birthday on Wednesday and is looking towards the future.

Megan Fox Commits Career Suicide And Offends Lynda Carter, The Original Wonder Woman…Looks Like You Blew Your Chance To Play The Superhero!!!

Lynda Carter was on Wendy Williams today speaking about her affiliation with the Wonder Woman franchise and what she has been up to. A funny awkwardness came about today when Wendy said Megan Fox should play Wonder Woman for the big screen theatrical version of the hit series from the 70’s.

Lynda’s face went blank and replied slightly offended and upset regarding Wendy’s choice, Megan Fox.

Lynda replied, “No Way, I would never have her play Wonder Woman after the nasty things she said about the Superhero.”

Lynda went further to say why no on Megan. Apparently Megan Fox was already approached to play the Amazon Princess from the isle of Isis. Megan replied in a recent red carpet question, “I don’t want to play her, I mean, who cares about a lame superhero that only has the power of truth and a golden lassle.”

FYI Megan Wonder Woman is One of The Best Superhero!!!

Well you blew your chance after hearing Lynda on Wendy today. Not a smart move on your part Megan, you never know which movie role is going to make you a household name and Wonder Woman would have been that part. The picture in this post shows how perfect you are for the part, but Lynda has to sign off on who is playing her in the film and you did the biggest NO NO in the biz. Never down someones body of work or claim to fame, you never know if they are still connected and Lynda is and your definitely NOT going to play Wonder Woman now.

Megan, so far you only have Transformers 1 -2 as the hot girlfriend, not a break out part. you are still forgettable. Example if you go up to someone on the street like we have they say this, “I like the hot chick who played Shia’s girlfriend.” Notice how they didn’t remember your name. You need a lead role and not the hot chick or you’ll never be a superstar, ask your management or agent they’ll agree with us. But as for Wonder Woman YOU BLEW IT BIG TIME…Career Suicide!!!

Michael Jackson vs. Elvis …Do We Need To Defame One’s Legacy? And Why?

How do you feel about The King of Pop, Michael Jackson’s death vs. The King of Rock Elvis Presley’s death. Even though drugs played a part in both superstars lives. Do you think it is necessary to bash or pull the race card if someone disagrees with Michael’s passing?

Is it right that people are depicting Michael’s death as his own fault. the coroner’s real report of true cause of death has and will not be available til August. Isn’t it too soon to say it was drugs? Cardiac Arrest was the cause of Michael’s passing. But  was it the doctor who may have accidentally overdosed his patient. Did Michael want to die, probably not, it was heard and said by inside sources he was having troubles sleeping and just wanted something to help him rest, but not eternally. This was the ill-fate of the late Heath Ledger, Kurt took his own life and left a note, but when you look back at history many names come to mind that are attached to drugs and or covered up by murder, such as Marylin Monroe, Anna Nicole Smith and Natalie Wood to name a few. Others who just overdosed themselves  Elvis,  Janis Joplin and Judy Garland, but is it the race card or drugs we need to turn to and defame ones legacy?

Is Interracial Dating Still An Issue For Straight and Gay Black Men and Women? Exclusive Only Here!

How do you feel when you see a white woman with a black man? Who do you feel when you see a White man with a fine black woman and finally Why is it such an issue in the gay scene when Black men date outside of their race?

These questions full today’s society and why? Racism still lingers from with in family blood lines prior experience, here say from other and more. Does that make an individuals feelings toward another race correct? No it doesn’t all it is proving that racism still lives within each individual on some level.Now this can come from either side, black or white, but in the end it all comes down to one answer racism needs to STOP!

Is it our own insecurities that drives us to despise or talk down another persons well being? The answer is yes, people who have to down play someone, make a rumor, spread gossip about another person in the club, at the bar or on the street because they date outside of their race is and insecurity within yourself that you may not be willing to admit or a projection of your parents issues from childhood. It may run deeper then that, some like to pull the race card, bring up slavery, which we all know so well and should be completely ashamed of no matter who it the race that is being enslaved. Slavery comes on all levels, it may be working n cooperated America, It may be working for a label, it may even be an artist trying to spread their vision, but tied down by an oppressive dominance. But that is not what we are talking today.

In a recent study that we came across regarding interracial marriage vs same race marriage the interracial marriage is the stronger bond. Why? Is it the fact they maybe those individuals went through many hoops to prove one another to each other, Or not! But it was for them to decide.

Many people feel that interracial marriage is very difficult to sustain and therefore more liable to end in divorce than a same race marriage. However, do you think this is correct? If you look at the statistics, you will actually see a larger number of divorces in favor of same race marriages. You would argue here that this would be because there were more same race marriages than otherwise.

Let us compare the possible problems stemming from an interracial marriage as compared to a regular marriage.

The Differences In An Interracial Marriage

It is true that there would be differences in cultures, backgrounds, religions and even language sometimes. However, the same could be true with the same race marriage. Then there is the possibility of facing strong opposition from the families of those who choose to marry interracially. The same would be possible with regular marriages – this is highly accentuated when the societal strata or educational background differs. Lastly, the society in some places might not fully accept the association. This is the only problem that a regular marriage may not have to face.

Now, for one moment forget about the racial issue. Let us say that you cannot see the exterior and at the same time, imagine these two people studying together at Harvard or working together in an office shoulder to shoulder, falling in love and marrying. Don’t you think that a marriage between two people who share such a lot in common (educational background, official duties – for a long time) would be successful?

An interracial marriage is a difficulty only when there are other differences in the relationship, such as mentality, economic background, educational background and religious beliefs. These are the same in regular marriages either. Similar criteria apply in any same race marriage. In fact, there are possibilities that the spouses would be more dedicated to the marriage because it is interracial and they would be afraid that they would loose one another because of this difference. Otherwise, marriage is normally first a union of minds and the bodies.

Therefore, no one can really say that an interracial marriage is any worse than a regular marriage. This is a marriage like any other – which requires a lot of love and toil to make it work. Whatever the differences, it all depends upon the approach to make it or break it. Very often big differences such as religion, culture, and ethnic background pale into comparison to the smaller day-to-day differences that the new couple has to negotiate. The success of marriage depends upon how they resolve these seemingly small problems more than those larger than life differences.

This leads us to why do white men like black men? Why do white women like black men? Well for some it is simply the term;opposites attract. some may trying to  piss of their family, some may feel more comfortable with another race but it is those individuals that shape our nation, bring it to the next level. tie the bond and make it stronger between races, growing and discovery there is a whole world out there beyond the world you know.

But for the individual that has to comment, hate as  you call it, on a person for dating a different race is basically insecure. Now for the people who listen and follow the lead, the is a depiction of narrow minded-low-self-esteem.  We as people have the right to date who we want, when we want and how we  want. If you feel it is incorrect then that is on you and is your own issue, not the person who is dating outside of his or her race.

If you go into a predominate black club and you see 1-4 white men in the club, the obviously date outside of their race. Do you think those guys are doing it as a sport? No they are not, learn to no be judgement on all white men or non black men. learn no t to be the judgemental on the female who dates a brutha. Take the time to learn the person who is dating a brutha or sista. It is the brutha or sista that says, “He is stealing all our men, She is a big black dick whore or she only wants every black dick in the place.” For some individuals that may be true, they may be sprung, they may be addicted to sex with bruthas. But there are some real genuine men and women who date bruthas because they are more comfortable, they are sexually attracted, they appreciate the man and not the color of his skin. Ge to know someone before you talk about he or she. Especially if you don’t know the following three things:

The individuals Name

The ethnicity

Who they are as a person

When you get older in life you realize people use others because they think the white man has money, so fuck him and milk him for what he has. That is what we as a people need to stop doing. it’s the downward spiral of our black culture. Stop judging people because of the complexion…too dark, too light, white ,black, Asian, Hispanic, brown…all of that doesn’t matter. What truly matter is the individuals who are involved together. If its just sex, dating, or long term that is an agreement between adults and when you hit your early 20’s you need to grow up and realize racism is not the answer.  You never know who your should mate may finally end up being, but if you judge people because of their skin then you obviously have a lot to learn.

A person once told me, “I never like you until now.” I wasn’t baffled and didn’t understand as I interracially date bruthas. the individual then said, “I have seen you all over and you always have the finest men with you.” That is true, but most of those men are friends strictly Platonic, but is that any ones business, no it’s mine. They then said, “We have known each other for over 12 years, but in the last 2 years we have become friends and all the rumors about you are not true, not one of the things that were said to me have you actually done or been with.” I said I know.

Now the moral of the story may not be clear so I will basically lay it down for you. The person who of low -self-esteem instead of talking to me, taking the time to know me, instead judge me per hear-say. They went on lies created by someone who is against interracial dating. Is that my fault? No, but it is of the individual who shall be unmentioned.

Life is hard or its easy but it is what you make it. don’t let other peoples insecurities bring you down rise above it and if you don’t agree with a friend who is against dating outside their race then fuck them. Do what you feel is right and always take the time to get to know somebody, have a drink in the club, at the bar or in a restaurant and if you don’t feel them, may it be of your own conclusions. Never degrade yourself, your wit, your pride, your individuality to fit in because someone told you to do it. If so that makes you shallow.

Nobody knows if the vibe is there, but you will never know unless you expand your horizon, look beyond childish behavior and begin to grown up  and mostly stop talking about people preference on who the sleep with as  I  was a brutha, this article wouldn’t exist nor would it be an issue with bruthas regardless. Nobody can steal another person from a race, they obviously find something attractive about each other. -MW
